We are very sorry for what happened, but could you please let us have your phone number and address so we can sort it out?

I apologize that I was delayed, but the traffic jam on the freeway was far worse than I had expected.

The newly but affectionately released TVS Radeon stands strong evidence for just how much Yamaha, one of those companies that used to concentrate on customers in rural areas and have turned increasingly verbose and urban–or simply decided it does want television money after all–has grown up.

The company has poured years of research and development into its new motorcycle, while it is hardly surprising that TVS Motor Company should be so confident about its bike. After all, they have staff on hand to pen brilliant slogans (as seen on billboards across India) with every member of its management now an award-winning advertising consultant in his own right.

With unmatched functionality braced against a unique design, this is the bike of today’s rodeo.

In the crowded motorcycle market, TVS have found exactly the right stylistic touch in their new Radeon model. Its fresh and elegant styling does not seek to overpower the viewer at first glance but rather appeals this way – halfway between blandness and gaudiness.

The machine features flowing lines and a muscular tank to give it strong road presence. Inset chrome highlights across the front and rear quarter adds an air of quality without going over top that do anything for performance or reliability but look really cool.

Another nice touch on these models are the lampwork. The LED DRLs pick up light from a whole new angle, even although they are tucked behind an innocuous row of screws on the side of each battery plate.

It is worth noting that the seat deserves mention here too. TVS claims it to be the longest in its segment, a fact which I was able to verify during my test ride and still feel this morning – even after trundling over potholes along a meandering city street for several kilometers.

The console is simple but modern. It combines a digital-analogue layout that has all the necessary information without overwhelming the rider or offending aesthetics with frills and clutter.

Time was when comfortable seating was a luxury that only the rich and famous could afford in commuter motorcycles. TVS understands how important rider comfortThere is a tram nearby.

Balanced Performance: The One That Combines Efficiency with Power

Lurking under the stylish exterior of the TVS Radeon is “smart” digital rockers: a soaking 109.7cc engine that pumps out 8.4 PS at 7,000 rpm and 8.7 Nm (0.9 kgm) of torque at 5,000 rpm. At first glance these numbers may seem modest indeed, yet they translate into impressive real-world performance.

Performance in the bow

Opel Kadett 2 I Spectacular The stands a firm chance of securing class wins for the best of a new generation of small engines. This piece epitomizes days past when powerplants were bulky low-revving blunt instruments. It is compact light fuel-efficient quiet and powerful.

It impresses, however, just how fuel-efficient the bike is. TVS claims a mileage of 69.3 kmpl; in my week-long test, however, I regularly achieved figures close to 72kmpl in mixed riding conditions.

When considering fuel consumption as well as smooth performance, this is outstanding by any standard. One can’t help but be reminded of a juggler – theenginers at TVS show remarkable flair here.

The gearbox also deserves applause. Change-gears with the clutch working at a smooth, light touch this makes long hours of stop-and-go riding in town traffic infinitely less of a strain on your wrist.

I found myself particularly appreciating this refined gear shift mechanism during my everyday trips through peak traffic like rush hours.

Practical Features Make Riding It a Pleasure

What makes the TVS new Rapton stand out isn’t just neat; it’s also user friendly everyday features that will give your riding experience a boost.

A USB charging port comes standard on the bike, once a premium feature but now almost mandatory in this world where our smartphones go thirsty every 5 seconds. TVS’s wisdom is reflected in this small detail adding convenience to modern riders’ lives.

With side-stand indicator complete with engine inhibitor, the bike will sense whether the stand is down or not and refuse to move if it is – a simple thing that can spare you from injury and damage.

The storage spaces are easily forgotten on commuter motorcycles (but not on the Radeon).

The bike also features a practical utility box under the seat that can hold documents and small items in a secure manner. The bike also features TVS’s patented Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT), which automatically applies the front brake when the rear wheel brake is used.

Thanks to this, those with less experience who do not habitually use both brakes in emergency situations get more balanced stopping power.

A consistent concern about ground clearance is what makes India’s roads so unpredictable at times: they can be smoother than racing tracks one moment and full of unexpected bumps the next.

The Radeon, with its ample 180mm clearance, obviates any problem scraping the underbelly even on difficult terrain having speedsWith the TVS Radeon, the thing that impresses me most is how all of these features combine to reduce rider fatigue – and that’s something you truly feel if you’re spending hours each day in the saddle.

The ergonomic design is most worth mentioning. In a natural riding triangle that feels like an old friend from the first sit, the handlebar position, seat height, and foot peg position all combine to give excellent comfortPerhaps the most indicative aspect of the Radeon’s excellence is that during daily commutes its presence goes almost unnoticed.

No battle, no hardship, no annoyances – just smooth and efficient transportation, occasionally with a cheeky grin to add when you open her up on the straights Of TVS’s thoughtfully engineered design and construction, this is a product that stands out not by gimmick but because it brings something different. In a market segment where differentiation is increasingly difficult, TVS seems to have succeeded in creating one which doesn’t need any of the usual trickery to make the point.

The TVS Radeon isn’t trying to be a sports bike or an adventure tourer. It knows what it is: a fine commuter motorcycle that does its job well while being just fancy enough so owners can feel proud of themselves and not merely in duty as is often the case otherwise.

The radeon is priced so that its target audience can afford it, yet provides great value for money on today ‘s market. It is not merely a buy — it is an insurance against years of future transport problems.

At room volume, the Radeon X800, like Radeon X750, is both quiet and under cool. It’s also a cool customer in the long term.

TVS Radeon makes sound business for a leatherjacketed rider who wants a certain style and reliability- and no fruss. The model is reassuringly familiar yet still fresh enough, at first glance only.

It’s no mere new bike; we are NOW setting the standard in the entry-level category.
